Nagpasya ang House prosecution panel na i-forego ang pagpresenta ng natitirang mga testigo sa Article 1 ng impeachment case, o ang patungkol sa umano’y maling paggamit ng confidential funds.
Ayon kay Private prosecutor Atty. Lorna Kapunan na sapat na umano ang naipresenta na mga ebidensya.
“After a long meeting, the prosecution both public and private prosecutors, have decided today, we have decided to forego, Your Honors, not only with the subpoenaed for today but with all the remaining 15 witnesses,” ani Kapunan.
Samantala, inaasahang ipapa-subpoena rin sa impeachment court si Vice President Sara Duterte.
