Nag-public apology sa social media ang actor na si Will Smith sa pananapak sa komedyanteng si Chris Rock sa Academy Awards.
Hindi ikinatuwa ni Smith ang pagbibiro ni Rock sa itsura ng asawa nitong may alopecia o kondisyon ng unti-unting pagkawala ng buhok.
“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.“
Inamin nitong “unacceptable” at “inexcusable” ang nagawa at naging emosyunal umano nang maging paksa ang medical condition ni Jada.
I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.
There is no place for violence in a world of love and kindness.”
Kasabay nito ang paghingi rin ng tawad sa Academy at producers ng show at lahat ng nakakita sa pangyayari.
“I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us. I am a work in progress.”
